Hyderabad: Private professional colleges in the State have decided to stay shut till the State government releases at least 50 per cent of the fee reimbursement dues.
The Federation of Associations of Telangana Higher Education Institutions (FATHI) on Wednesday said the State government owed around Rs 10,000 crore tuition fee dues to private professional, degree and PG colleges , and demanded at least Rs 5,000 crore of this be cleared immediately and the remaining dues paid in 10 monthly instalments of Rs 500 crore each.
