At least nine people have died and at least 11 more injured after a UPS plane crashed in Kentucky late Tuesday afternoon.

The MD-11 aircraft was en route to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu when the plane went down near the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Louisville shortly after takeoff around 5:15 p.m. local time, authorities said.

Video of the crash showed flames on one of the plane’s wings, and a huge fireball erupting as the aircraft hit the ground, sending a massive cloud of black smoke into the surrounding area.
