Bremer County voters cast ballots for city, school board and hospital candidates in the Nov. 4 elections.

Preliminary results show the contested Ward 1 seat in Waverly went to Luana Harman.

In contested school district elections, Denver’s two at large seats went to Amber Heller and Ryan Wirtjes. Sumner-Fredericksburg’s at large director seat was claimed by Jim Wright.

In initial reports for Dunkerton schools, four open directorship seats received 0 votes for candidates.

As for public measures, Plainfield voters approved new wording for their Local Option Sales and Service Tax statement of purpose; Sumner-Fredericksburg School District’s proposed bond issue was approved; and Dunkerton School’s measure to move to at large directorships reportedly received 0 votes for or against.
