The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to X on Wednesday (November 5) to announce India’s squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against South Africa. In the team picked for the home series starting November 14 in Kolkata, Rishabh Pant is back. Pant, who is India’s first-choice wicketkeeper-batter in the five-day format of the game, missed the two-match Test series against the West Indies last month along with the fifth Test against England at The Oval due to a foot injury that he suffered on Day 1 of the fourth India-England Test at Old Trafford in Manchester.
Along with him, one more player is back in the squad, whereas as many as two players, who were part of the Test squad against the West Indies, have been left out.
