Giants expected to battle Dodgers, Cubs for .865 OPS free agent

The top free agent in baseball this offseason is widely accepted to be Kyle Tucker.

The much more unknown reality is where Tucker might end up, on a contract that could exceed $300 million.

MLB.com's Mark Feinsand took a crack at breaking it down in his offseason free agent rankings that came out this week. He lists three teams as the best fit for Tucker: the San Francisco Giants , Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs .

Tucker just concluded a season with the Cubs that was strong early and dwindled late.

But he's a star, an .865 career OPS signifying his career-long consistency.
