Delhi Capitals (DC) are all set to release skipper Meg Lanning ahead of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026, sources told India Today. The franchise has reportedly retained Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Marizanne Kapp, Annabel Sutherland, and Niki Prasad ahead of the auction scheduled for November 27 in New Delhi.
DC have decided not to retain Arundhati Reddy, Radha Yadav, and N Shree Charani, all of whom were part of India’s squad that won the Women’s World Cup on November 2, defeating South Africa by 52 runs in the final at the Dr DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
