Vfor Vendetta is set for a nationwide theatrical release for its 20th anniversary on November 1 and 5 next year, and Fathom Entertainment , Saga Arts and Warner Bros. Pictures are out today with a teaser trailer inviting audiences to “Join V One Year from Tonight ” — a riff on the iconic invitation in the film.

The 2006 political action thriller based on the graphic novel and produced by the Wachowskis is a film of defiance and freedom set against the dystopian, futuristic landscape of a totalitarian Britain. Natalie Portman stars as Evey, a young working-class woman rescued from the secret police by a masked freedom fighter known only as V ( Hugo Weaving ), who is leading a plot to take down the oppressors in dramatic fashion.
