Raja Warring Row: Election Commission objects to SC Commission’s Summoning Order; Asks to Withdraw Its Order Stating It as Interference in Election Process

Chandigarh, November 5, 2025:

In a sharp response to Punjab State SC Commission’s move summoning two key election officials amid the ongoing Tarn Taran Assembly bypoll, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Punjab has written to the Commission, objecting to its order and terming it as interference in the conduct of elections.
