New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) Amidst the soulful renditions of kirtan echoing across the national capital, devotees marked the 556th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, with deep reverence and festive spirit on Tuesday.
Since dawn, people from all walks of life were seen flocking to city’s prominent Gurudwaras such as Bangla Sahib, Rakab Ganj Sahib, and Sis Ganj Sahib, to offer prayers and take part in the celebrations. The Gurudwaras were adorned with vibrant lights, fresh flowers, and spiritual decorations, creating a colorful and vibrant atmosphere to mark the day.
Special langars were organised at the Gurudwaras and various locations, where volunteers served food and prasad to devotees and those passing by.
