For those who are affected by disruptions to SNAP food assistance benefits during the government shutdown, there are resources to help.

Peoria Neighborhood Services has coordinated a food assistance resource webpage to connect people to whatever help they may need, peoriaaz.gov/peoriasupport . Click the Food Services and Resources link.

• Weekly food distribution (Thursdays, 7:00–8:30 a.m.; first come, first served);

• Includes fruits, vegetables, drinks, bread/pastries, and misc. products.
