Thousands are expected to flock to Edinburgh to visit the 'magical' annual Christmas Markets as the festive season approaches.

With the iconic Big Wheel, Star Flyer, ice rink and bars set to return - the city centre will be flooded with festive folks. If you're wondering when it all kicks off, we've got you covered.

Between November 15 and January 4, the market will be open between 10am and 10pm daily - aside from some dates which have altered hours, or will see the market closed, which you can see below.

December 24: 10am - 8pm

December 25: CLOSED

December 26: 12pm - 8pm

December 31: 10am - 5.30pm

January 1: 12pm - 8pm

January 4: 10am - 6pm

The Polar Ice bar doesn't open until November 20, and runs until January 4, with various times available for booking.
