St. John’s Regional Fire Department Mourns Loss of Firefighter

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department is mourning one of its own.

Craig Quigley, who passed away after a long battle with brain cancer, is being remembered as a devoted firefighter, a cherished community member and a beloved family man.

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department has posted a black band on its social media accounts as a sign of mourning and other fire departments have done the same.

The fire department says Quigley’s cancer, was presumptive and a “reminder of the risks and sacrifices faced by those who dedicate their lives to protecting others.”
