CHICAGO (WLS) -- A day care worker was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in front of young children on the North Side Wednesday morning, witnesses said.
Several witnesses said it happened inside the Rayito de Sol in the 2500-block of West Addison Street, in North Center and Roscoe Village area. The business remained closed Wednesday after the incident.

Several parents and aldermen said the armed agents with ICE on their jackets arrested the worker at the start of the school day.
At about 7:15 a.m., parents, staff and children at Rayito de Sol Early Learning Center witnessed the woman being detained as she and other told agents she had documentation.
