SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — An Odessa man has been arrested in San Angelo following a late-night chase on Nov. 4 that started after he evaded a traffic stop due to having "consumed alcoholic beverages," an affidavit indicates.

According to an affidavit filed in Tom Green County, the man arrested was 36-year-old Irvhin Tarin. A patrol officer stated that he conducted a traffic stop on a silver Chevrolet Silverado, which Tarin was the driver of. He said that Tarin "did not stop but slow rolled at approximately 20 mph." Tarin then came to a stop after a few blocks down, but "did not comply with commands to turn off his vehicle and step out."
