The Night Manager is officially back, and the intrigue has only intensified. The globally acclaimed espionage thriller, based on John le Carré’s characters, returns for two additional seasons, eight years after its first installment captivated viewers. The upcoming season will stream on Amazon Prime Video with the BBC remaining attached, replacing AMC as co-producing partner.

Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as ex-hotelier-turned-intelligence operative Jonathan Pine. But this time, Pine has buried his identity deep. Operating under the alias Alex Goodwin, he leads a quiet MI6 surveillance post in London. That peace, however, doesn’t last long.
