DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — A Danville man was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being arrested for dealing methamphetamine in 2019.
Myron Wright plead guilty to methamphetamine, a class X felony, on Thursday.
On November 14, 2019, officers pulled over a car with Wright in the passenger seat and found two baggies of meth where Wright was sitting.
The baggies weighed over 33 grams and tested positive for meth. Police interviewed the other occupants of the car, who admitted to giving Wright $100 to buy the meth just before being stopped.
Wright will serve 18 months of mandatory supervised release after serving his sentence.
