The 2025 MLB season just ended with a great World Series Game 7 last Saturday. Now it’s time to talk spring!

As of the date of this post, we are just 107 days away from the Cubs’ Spring Training opener against the White Sox.

Included in the 18-game Sloan Park home schedule is an exhibition game against Team Italy, preparing for the World Baseball Classic. Even though there won’t be any WBC games in the Phoenix area in 2026, this will be a chance to see some WBC players and get a bit of a taste of the tournament.

And MLB’s Spring Breakout returns again in 2026, with Padres prospects facing Cubs prospects at Sloan Park.
