LEWISTON, Maine — A teenager was arrested Tuesday night after Lewiston police say a gun was fired from a vehicle near the intersection of Oak and Sabattus streets.
Officers responded around 9:30 p.m. to a report of a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot in the area, Lewiston police said in a social media post . A witness told officers she saw people inside the vehicle pointing a green laser at nearby buildings and heard a single gunshot as she entered her apartment, the post stated.
Officers located the vehicle still in the lot and conducted a felony stop. Four people inside were detained without incident and taken to the Lewiston Police Department for questioning, according to officials.
