Valley native Gianna Clemente has had a stellar golf career at age 17.

She's a junior PGA Champion, was the Rolex AJGA Rolex Player of the Year and competed in three Augusta National Women's Amateurs..

Now she's decided to turn pro and focus on playing on the LPGA tour.

Clemente had to turn pro to participate in the final LPGA Qualifying series next month.

She made her announcement on Instagram.
