Most of us haven’t finished eating our Halloween candy, yet the Christmas season has already been thrust upon us.

Some stores were even loaded up with winter holiday decorations before the trick-or-treating began.

Those of us already humming holiday tunes will be happy to know that some New York radio stations will switch to all-Christmas holiday formats very soon.

And some of us, the ones who prefer to wait until after Thanksgiving to welcome the Christmas season, may be less than thrilled.

iHeartMedia WLTW (106.7 Lite FM) will officially ring in the holiday season by switching to its annual all-Christmas music format on Friday, Nov. 22, at 5 p.m., dubbing itself “New York’s Christmas Station,” according to a station announcement. The switch will happen five days before Thanksgiving.
