Diners at El Rancho Restaurante y Pupuseria in Fairview Township can now order margaritas with their fajitas, tacos and quesadillas.

The restaurant, which debuted in February at 135 Sheraton Drive, opened a full-service bar on Oct. 31 after receiving approval for a liquor license.

Co-owner Manuel Ambrocio said they encountered delays getting the license approved.

“Not having the bar open really affected my business. I guess our customers really wanted those fajitas paired with margaritas,” he said.

Ambrocio and his wife, Maria Ramirez, modeled the restaurant after their El Rancho at 771 Eisenhower Blvd. in Swatara Township, with an authentic Central American menu blending Mexican and El Salvadoran foods.
