WILMINGTON — The New Castle County Chamber of Commerce has launched a new arm to bring leaders together to collectively work to move the needle on workforce development and small business challenges.

The nonprofit New Castle County Economic Partnership formally launched in September, bringing together around 40 people invested in making the county an attractive place for entrepreneurs and big businesses. It’s a collective table for businesses across different sectors to promote and strengthen the county as a whole.

“On a county level, we don’t always sell ourselves in the best way. One piece of that is that businesses need a coordinator to come across several industries,” said Emma Odren, New Castle County Chamber of Commerce Economic Development and Strategic Partnerships Director.
