Randy Madden, a former contestant on season eight of “American Idol,” is facing multiple felony charges after he was accused of having sex with a minor.

Madden, 45, was arrested by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office in California, according to arrest records . He was charged on Nov. 3 with six felony offenses including: unlawful sexual intercourse; sending harmful matter; luring; and dissuading a witness from reporting a crime.

Madden appeared in court via Zoom and pleaded not guilty to all counts, according to People . He posted $100,000 bail and was released on Tuesday.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 13 in the Ventura County Superior Court of California.
