A Ballwin, Missouri, man has been charged in connection with a crash in Overland Park, Kansas, that killed a 68-year-old pedestrian.

Brigham Morgan was charged with reckless involuntary manslaughter and failure to stop at an accident resulting in death, Johnson County District Court documents show. Advertisement

Morgan is accused of hitting a woman with his car in the early hours of Oct. 28, continuing on until he struck a tree.

The Overland Park Police Department said the car was traveling east on Goddard Street around 3:30 a.m. when it struck a parked car, kept driving and hit a woman who was out walking.

The woman died as a result.
