CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Six people were injured in a multiple vehicle crash in east Charlotte including a Charlotte-Mecklenburg School bus and a CATS bus, according to officials.

Charlotte Fire said on Wednesday, Nov. 5, along with Medic and Charlotte-Mecklenburg police responded to a vehicle crash involving three vehicles at the intersection of N. Tryon Street and East Craighead Road.

Medic said that six people suffered life-threatening injuries and no one was injured on the school bus. Charlotte Fire said that the driver was the only one on the school bus.

At the time of this writing it was unclear how many people were injured on the CATS bus or in the other vehicle.
