GLENDALE, Ariz. — Arizona Cardinals Quarterback Kyler Murray, who has missed several weeks with a foot injury, is heading to injured reserve , the team announced on Wednesday.
Murray has already missed three games with the lingering foot issue, and now will have to miss at least four more games before returning to the field.
The team said Murray is eligible to return for the home game against the Los Angeles Rams on Dec. 7.
"It's the best thing for him and for us," Coach Jonathan Gannon said. "He's fully committed. What he is going to concentrate on is getting healthy. He is not healthy enough to play, and he needs to get healthy so he can get back to playing football."
According to ESPN Statistics, in the five games that Murray has played this season, he has a 68.3 completion percen
