MINDEN, Neb. (KSNB) - A bond measure to build a new elementary school building in Minden passed by a narrow margin Tuesday, according to unofficial results from the Kearney County Election Commissioner.

The measure received 813 votes in favor and 796 votes against.

According to the school district , the bond will not raise taxes because officials plan to use money from their special building fund. The district also expects 30% tax credits for residents.
