KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The costume designer and creative director behind Dolly Parton’s glamorous wardrobe, Steve Summers, is coming to Roane State Community College to speak about his life working with the Tennessee Legend.
It will happen on Nov. 14 at the O’Brien Theatre on campus. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a special VIP meet-and-greet prior to the show at 6:30 p.m.
Organizers say Summers has worked with the famous singer for more than three decades and is a Harriman native.
During the event, Summers will be discussing his life and work while also showing off some of Parton’s costumes. There will also be an audio recorded message from the country legend herself, which will be played for the audience.
Tickets for the event can be purchased here. The Roan
