For eight generations, the Moore family has called the hills of Harrison County home. Located near Cadiz, Cottage Hill Farm has stood the test of time, recently celebrating more than 200 years in the Moore family tree. Fittingly, the original deed to the farm, granted in 1816 by President James Madison, is written on sheepskin. The topography of the farm has always been a natural fit for raising sheep, and flocks have defined Cottage Hill Farm for generations.

Today three generations of the Moore family still work together to tend to the land and the livestock. Rick Moore is joined on the farm by his son, Steve, and his father, Stanley.
