BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- FeedMore Western New York says more than 200,000 people in Western New York rely on SNAP benefits.

Wardynski's in Buffalo is partnering with a local bakery to provide enough food for 1,000 families through FeedMore WNY.

"My grandfather always told me, 'You give until it hurts, and if it doesn't, you're not giving enough.' He always said that. So we try to follow that 106 years later," said Raymond "Skip" Wardynski, owner and associate of F. Wardynski & Sons.

Skip Wardynski is part of the third generation running the family business in Buffalo.

"Business is good, and we appreciate the support from the community. And that's why we give back to the community always," said Wardynski.

They're encouraging other businesses to join in and help neighbors in need.
