A Florida resident received an unexpected shock on Wednesday when they discovered a ball python coiled around the engine of their vehicle. The unusual discovery quickly led to a call for assistance.

Martin County Animal Control Officer Mollie Cameron responded to the scene and successfully and safely removed the snake from the vehicle’s engine bay. Following its removal, the ball python was transported to a local wildlife hospital, where it is currently receiving care and observation.
