Police are investigating a brazen, broad daylight attempted home invasion in Sherman Oaks where gunshots were fired Wednesday afternoon, authorities confirmed to KTLA.

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division responded to a “hot prowl home invasion robbery” in the 14800 block of Otsego Street, near the intersection of Willis Avenue just before 1 p.m.
