NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch hadn’t received an official offer to stay on from Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani Wednesday — but insiders were urging the top cop to work in the socialist’s administration, sources told The Post.

The Democratic candidate had told Tisch prior to Tuesday’s election that they’d speak after Nov. 4 about his plan to keep her as commissioner, sources with knowledge of the conversation said.

The day after his historic win, Mamdani repeated his campaign promise to keep Tisch, praising her for rooting out the “incompetence and corruption” from Mayor Eric Adams’ cronies in the police department.
