FOXBOROUGH – As the Patriots prepare for a big matchup against Tampa Bay, the team was missing a handful of key offensive pieces during their first practice.
On Wednesday, the Patriots were without receiver Kayshon Boutte (hamstring), center Garrett Bradbury (hip), running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe), linebacker Christian Elliss (hip), and defensive tackle Joshua Farmer (ankle).
The biggest surprise on that list was Bradbury. The 30-year-old center has started every game for the Patriots this season and, up until this week, has avoided the injury report. Bradbury was present on the Patriots’ practice field but wearing shorts and sneakers while teammates were in cleats with shells.
The Patriots have two more practices, but losing Bradbury would be tough heading into Tampa Bay.
