SPRINGFIELD – The city will be suspending its bulk waste collection for the weeks of Nov. 24 and Dec. 1 while it closes out the yard waste season, with final collections of leaves and brush.

The municipal trash, recycling and yard waste collections will continue as usual on Veterans Day, which falls on Tuesday.

There will be no disruptions during that week despite the holiday, Department of Public Works officials said.
