The two people dead after an apparent murder-suicide in a Beverly home were identified by officials on Wednesday.

Becky Lynn Center, 58, and John Patrick Nesbitt, 56, were identified by the Essex County District Attorney’s Office.

The man and woman were found by Beverly police officers with gunshot wounds inside a Colonial Road home at about 9:40 p.m. on Monday, officials previously said.

Police said on Tuesday that there is no public threat related to these deaths. Beverly Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker’s office and the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are continuing to investigate the deaths.
