CHEYENNE — Physical activity isn’t just good for the body; it supports the mind, as well.
For Girls on the Run Wyoming Executive Director Cindy Bradley, the joy of the job is fostering that growth.
Since 1996, the Girls on the Run program has been supporting young girls to develop a healthy relationship with running, self-confidence and important life skills through their curriculum.
Though the program has a national reach, Wyoming was without a program for several years, Bradley said. In fact, in 2016, Wyoming was the only state in the country without a local Girls on the Run.
