Eric Holstein scored a hat-trick and Westhill boys soccer breezed past Section X’s Canton 8-1 in the subregional round in windy and rainy conditions Wednesday night at John. C. Birdlebough High School in Phoenix.

The Wolf Pack play next against Section VII’s Northeastern Clinton in the regional round on Saturday at Fayetteville-Manlius for a spot in the state semifinals for the third straight year.
