Now a month into the regular season, it’s time for our first Maple Leafs prospect power rankings of 2025-26.
Breaking down the Leafs prospects will be a monthly feature at the Toronto Sun and Postmedia.
The initial thinking was that Easton Cowan was not going to be included on this list, considering his status with the Leafs.
That changed late on Wednesday afternoon when the Leafs activated centre Scott Laughton from injured reserve and assigned Cowan to the Toronto Marlies.
Cowan was the lone Leafs forward who didn’t require waivers to be sent to the American Hockey League.
