When the bracket is drawn up for the best 32 teams in Class 4A high school soccer, the numbers next to each team’s name can be deceptive. Anybody can pull off a victory on any given night.

Second-seeded Silver Creek very nearly fell victim to upset-minded Rampart, seeded No. 18 in the postseason, in the second round on a chilly Wednesday night, but in the opening minute of the first overtime, the Raptors found a way to advance.
