SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - A driver smashed into the front of a Chipotle restaurant in Springfield.

It happened around 2:30 p.m., on Wednesday, at the restaurant located on National near St. Louis Street. Police say the driver mixed up the pedals in the parking lot. The car ended up through the restaurant’s glass front.

Police say there were no serious injuries. The restaurant closed so crews could assess the damage.
