HASLETT — Mackynzie Bush entered her final season in the Williamston volleyball program wanting to be a role model for her younger teammates.
The senior middle also wanted to make a mark with her play on the court to help the Hornets have success.
Bush has succeeded in doing both.
She has been among the contributors in a strong regular season where Williamston captured its first league title since joining the CAAC Red in 2018.
And on Wednesday, Nov. 5, Bush helped the Hornets put themselves a win away from adding another title to their collection for the season playing a role in a sweep of CAAC Red rival Haslett in a Division 2 district semifinal.
