TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal drive-by shooting in Pima County in September.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said 30-year-old Arnulfo Ebeneser Mendoza was arrested near Benson Highway and Irvington Road on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

He was booked on charges of first-degree murder, drive-by shooting, and unlawful use of a means of transportation. Mendoza was being held without bond as of Wednesday night.

The PCSD said Mendoza shot and killed 34-year-old Marcus Anthony Javier on Sept. 4.

Javier was found shot in a crashed vehicle in the area of 3200 East Wyatt Street. He died at a local hospital.
