BEDFORD - St. Thomas Aquinas senior midfielder Aidan Molt, who was the one who threw the ball in, knew it.

Senior forward Luke Daly knew it, and that was probably the common theme on the St. Thomas sideline when fellow senior Angus Forman found himself one-on-one with Trinity goalie Tyler Charette in the waning moments of Wednesday's Division III semifinal against No. 4 Trinity.

Forman, who scored the game-tying goal in the first half, received Molt's throw-in, controlled the ball away from a few Trinity defenders, turned and scored with less than 2 minutes left in regulation to send the top-seeded Saints to the Division III state championship with a 2-1 win over Trinity at Bedford High School.
