DICKINSON, Texas (KTRK) -- A Dickinson man's death is being investigated as a homicide, police say.

The victim, a man in his late 60s, was found dead in his home in the 1700 block of FM 517 East just before 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

His sister told Eyewitness News she had gone to check on him when she found his body.

Police say they couldn't find any obvious signs pointing to how he died. It's also unclear when he died.

His sister said he shared the house with his son, but that all attempts to reach his son had failed. Investigators say they haven't been able to make contact either.

Police say they have no suspects.
