DUBAQ, La. (KNOE) - Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, shortly after 8 pm, troopers with the Louisiana State Police began investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash on US Highway 167.

The crash claimed the life of 43 - year - old Mark Grafton.

According to authorities, Grafton’s car veered off the road and turned over for reasons still under investigation.

Because Grafton was unrestrained, he was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Although not every crash is visible, properly wearing seat belts significantly reduces risk of serious injury during a collision.

No further information is available at this time, as this is an ongoing investigation.
