Incumbent Coleman A. Young II, Mary Waters
Incumbent at-large Detroit City Council members Mary Waters and Coleman A. Young II easily won re-election Tuesday night.
With all 430 precincts reporting, Waters had 36 percent of the vote (63,064), followed by Young with nearly 34 percent (58,786).
There were four candidates running for the two at-large seats. Former council member candidate Janeé Ayers came in third with 19 percent of the vote (33,571), and Detroit Fire Department official James Harris finished with about 10 percent (18,251).

District 1 : Incumbent James Tate Jr. ran unopposed.
District 2: Incumbent Angela Whitfield Calloway defeated Roy McCalister Jr., 12,923–6,682 (65–33 percent).
