CENTRAL ILLINOIS( 25News Now ) - 128 teams remain in the eight classes spanning the IHSA Football State Playoffs, with just fourteen remaining from Central Illinois.

In Class 5A, it’ll be a Mid-Illini vs Big 12 matchup as Peoria High hosts Morton on Saturday night. It’ll be a reunion for Potters coach Adam O’Neill as he was a long-time coach on the Lions staff, including being the defensive coordinator for Peoria High’s 2016 Class 5A state title team. Also in 5A, Bloomington will travel up to Oak Forest after rolling over Mascoutah, and Washington will host Mahomet after outlasting Normal U-High.

In Class 6A, Normal West notched an opening-round thriller over Thornwood, and now travel up to Chicago to take on a familiar playoff foe in Chicago Simeon in Round two. Dunlap will travel up
