The Office of the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS) has issued a show cause notice to Chatrapati Multi-State Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., following serious findings during an inspection conducted by the Government of Maharashtra.

The notice, issued on 3rd November 2025, refers to a communication from the Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Government of Maharashtra, dated 26th August 2025, which stated that an inspection of the society under Section 108 of the Multi-State Cooperative Societies (MSCS) Act, 2002 was carried out by a Special Auditor (Class-II) from Beed district.
