Dakota News Now SportsSIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The Augustana hockey team hit the road this afternoon for this weekend’s series at Ferris State in Michigan.
A pair of closely-contested wins over Northern Michigan was huge last weekend at MIDCO Arena and gives this team momentum and confidence knowing that every game in the CCHA is probably going to be close.
Garrett Raboin, Augustana Hockey Coach says, “We have to expect more of that and any time you can take points and the lions share of them at home you have to get that job done because it is so hard to win on the road with travel, venues, they have the home ice advantage. It’s really tough to squeak out points on the road. Obviously our record so far at MIDCO Arena is strong and the crowd has been tremendous, something we’ve drawn from.”
